Ziad Aslam

Ziad graduated in Chemistry from Edinburgh University in 1994.

He joined KPMG's Financial Business Unit in London to work on the audits of their City clients. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 Ziad left KPMG to join Ralston Purina as Management Accountant, responsible for setting up their European management reporting structure following their adoption of SAP.

In 1998 Ziad joined Young & Rubicam's healthcare communications division, Sudler & Hennessey. After spending two years in the role of Financial Controller, The world of dotcoms beckoned and Ziad moved to an internet start-up, Shipdesk, taking responsibility for creating a Business Plan, valuation models and the due diligence process to secure further funding. Following industry mergers, Ziad moved back to advertising, taking on the role as Financial Controller at DLKW in 2001.

In 2004 Ziad was promoted to Deputy Finance Director, and in 2005 Ziad took over the role of Finance Director. As part of this role Ziad also has responsibility for managing DLKW's commercial relationships with its clients and suppliers.

Zoe Verrion

Zoe joined DLKW in 2006 as a graduate account executive working on Opel and Vauxhall, W H Smith and Intelligent Finance. Since then she has worked on a range of Agency business, and is now the account manager on Charles Worthington, COI Stroke Awareness, Marie Curie Cancer Care, The Trainline and Halifax.

Victoria King

Victoria started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi before moving to Joshua (part of Grey London) to work on digital and direct marketing accounts (AOL, NatWest, M&G, Help the Aged). Victoria joined DLKW in 2006 working on Halifax and across several pieces of COI business including Student Finance, National Blood Service and Home Buying and Selling. Victoria now works as Account Director across the HomeForm group – Moben, Dolphin, Dolphin Easy Bathing, Sharps and Kitchens Direct.

Tom Knox

Tom began his career in advertising as a Graduate Trainee at Delaney Fletcher Delaney. In 1990 he went to work for Bozell Worldwide in New York, returning the following year to join Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO. He then moved to Chiat/Day where he spent the next four years as a Board Account Director before rejoining Delaney Fletcher Bozell in 1995 as Client Services Director. Tom was part of the team that staged the management buyout in 2000 and is now joint CEO alongside Richard Warren.

Toby Thorpe

Toby began his career in the Marketing department of Express Newspapers before moving into advertising with first Dig for Fire (Tesco, HSBC and First Direct) and then Principles (Coop, Asda, McVitie’s and Northern Foods). He arrived at DLKW in 2006 to work on the newly acquired Morrisons account.

Susan Poole

Susan started her Planning career at Burkitt DDB in 2000. In her six years at the agency she worked on a range of clients including John Lewis; Nestle Purina; Peroni; SWT and Royal Horticultural Society. She then moved to Grey London to work on P&G and GlaxoSmithKline. She joined DLKW in 2007 and has worked on a number of clients including COI Teenage Pregnancy/Sexual Health; The AA; & HBOS. She is currently the Planner on thetrainline.com; E.ON; & HomeForm. Over her career she has received a number of planning accolades including an IPA Effectiveness Grand Prix.

Sophie Masters

Sophie began her advertising career temping for M & C Saatchi, working on the RBS, Ribena, Porsche and Qantas accounts before joining DLKW in 2008 as an account executive on the Vauxhall Retail team.

Robyn Puttergill

Robyn began her career as an intern in the Marketing department of Johnson & Johnson. She was drawn to the advertising discipline so did a placement at Saatchi & Saatchi working on the Toyota Europe account before returning to University to complete her final year. After graduating, Robyn joined WDMP Communications to work on the 3 Mobile and Habitat accounts. Robyn joined DLKW in 2009 and works on the Vauxhall Retail, Birmingham Midshires Savings, Merlin and Finisterre accounts.

Richard K. Warren

Richard started in advertising at McCormick Publicis before moving to Chiat/Day in 1990 as an Account Director. In 1994 Richard moved to Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in New York to run the Snapple account among others. He returned to London in 1998 as Planning Director of Delaney Fletcher Bozell and in 2000 was part of the management buy-out team that created DLKW. In his time, Richard has won both APG and IPA Effectiveness Golds.

Pat McCaren

Pat began his career at university in 2001, working as a Sony Music Brand Manager before graduating in 2002 and joining the specialist voluntary sector agency, TimeBank. In early 2004, Pat joined experiential agency Cunning where he worked on Ford, Nissan and British Airways. He moved client-side in 2006 to join the BBC as a Strategic Project Manager, where he launched the BBC’s first teen service, BBC Switch. In October 2008 he joined DLKW where he works on Morrisons, RAF, Charles Worthington and Marston’s.

Laura Cledwyn

Laura joined DLKW in 2007 as a Graduate Account Executive working on Teenage Pregnancy and Sexual Health accounts for the COI. She moved to JWT International for a short period, working on the mobile operator MTS in Russia and the CIS. Since her return to DLKW, Laura has worked on WHSmith, Merlin Entertainments, and is currently busy on The Health Lottery, Halifax, and E.ON accounts.

Ming Brookes

Ming joined DLKW in June 2009, she is the gate-keeper for George Prest the Executive Creative Director. She started her career in the glory days of1994 at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington in New Zealand, aside from travelling the world she’s held her own in 3 of the top London advertising agencies. You may get her on the end of the line if you are phoning for a book crit or placement, she makes a mean builders tea & also goes by the name “Ming the Merciless”.

Michelle Holmes

Michelle started her career in TV at HHCL in 1989 and worked on various accounts during her 10 years there, including Orange Tango and the launch of First Direct. Joined DLKW in October 2007 as Head of TV Admin, working across all accounts.

Mike Sansom

Mike joined DLKW in 2008 as a Graduate Account Executive working on the Royal Air Force. Since joining, he has expanded his account portfolio to include Mirror Group Newspapers and the National Blood Service.

Martine Addis

Martine finished University in 2004 and began her career as a PR Assistant for Ted Baker London. After 2 years learning the pros and cons of free media exposure for clients Martine was keen to enter a long term career in Advertising. She was involved in multiple placements at VCCP, WJT and Mother working on clients such as O2, Vodaphone and PG Tips before joining DLKW in 2007. Following a 2 year stint as Print Production Manager working on Vauxhall, Martine has now joined the Digital Project Management team working across all accounts to assist in facilitating a fully integrated Creative Services department.

Kate Douglas

Kate started her career in PR, working on Toshiba, Warner Brothers and Canon before making the move into advertising. She joined DLKW in early 2008 to work on the Vauxhall Retail account as an Account Co-ordinator and now also works on WHSmith.

Julie McEachran

Julie began her career as an Account Executive at TDA in Cheltenham before moving to London and joining CMW, where she stayed for five years working on accounts that included marbles credit card & loans, Hyundai and Porsche Cars GB. She came to DLKW in 2005, where she’s worked as an Account Director on BM Solutions, The AA, and BAA. She was promoted to Board Account Director in early 2009 and is currently responsible for the Invesco Perpetual, Charles Worthington, BM Savings & Investments and Marie Curie Cancer Care accounts.

Jonathan Culling

Jonathan started his digital career in 1994, setting up and running the New Media department at design boutique Graphi. In 2000, he became Agency.com London’s first Information Architect, with long engagements on the British Airways and T-Mobile accounts. Moving to Sapient in 2004, he managed digital teams for clients such as IKEA, Sky, RBS and Vodafone.
In 2007, he moved to DLKW and set up its user experience department, working for clients such as Halifax, COI, TENA, BAA and SABMiller.

James Pool

James started his career at Rapp Collins before moving to the BBH group where he ran the Audi & One2One accounts. From there, he became Managing Director of the newly formed Anthem - an integrated agency belonging to the AMVBBDO group.

James joined Delaney Fletcher Bozell in 1999, becoming a partner in the newly formed DLKW in 2000. James is now Managing Director of DLKW and runs the Opel, Trinity Mirror Group, Birmingham Midshires, Homeform and Invesco Perpetual accounts.

Hannah Pater

Hannah joined DLKW in 2006 as a Graduate Account Executive working on Morrisons. She has since worked on a range of accounts including COI Sexual Health and Teenage Pregnancy, HBOS, The Stroke Association and the international TENA business.

Greg Delaney

Greg started life as a copywriter at the creative consultancy Delaney and Delaney, which he founded with his brother Barry. This company mutated into Delaney Fletcher Delaney, and then Delaney Fletcher Bozell, following its sale to Bozell. Greg was the Creative Director and then also Chairman of DFB, before he and some of his partners staged a management buyout in 2000 to form DLKW.

George Prest

George joined BBH as a copywriter in 1999. In 2004 he moved to Lowe as a Senior Copywriter, becoming a Creative Director in 2007. In this time, his work on brands including Levi’s, Barnardos, John Lewis, Sure, Audi, Stella Artois, Lynx and Domestos were recognised at every major award show. George joined DLKW as Executive Creative Director in April 2009.

Dan Shute

Dan began his career in advertising as a Graduate Trainee at Ogilvy & Mather, where he worked on BP (Fuels, Retail and Corporate), Castrol, Motorola and the Voluntary Euthanasia Society. He came to DLKW in 2004, where he has worked as an Account Director on General Motors (Vauxhall and Opel) and several pieces of COI business (including the RAF and the Department of Health’s Sexual Health campaign). He is currently the Board Account Director responsible for the Halifax, Marston’s and Marie Curie Cancer Care accounts.

Clive Sweeting

Clive began his career in the international production department at Wace where he worked on Calvin Klein, Elizabeth Arden & Compaq computers. He then moved into advertising when he joined BBH working on TAG Heuer, Dockers, Air miles, Polaroid, Heineken & Haagen Dazs. After he left BBH he returned to Wace, but this time working for them in New York. He returned to London to work at Mother and then Mustoes as a project manager on accounts such as D&AD Call for entries, Kia Cars, Penguin books, Hitachi, Dr Martens COI & Nickelodeon. In 2004 he left England, and after a years travelling, he settled in Sydney for two years where he worked at BMF and Clemenger BBDO as an integrated project manager on Pepsi, Visa & Air New Zealand. In August 2006 he returned to the UK and after a short stint freelancing at MCBD he joined DLKW as a senior project manager working on Halifax, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Vauxhall, Opel and The Mirror.

Charlotte Barker

Charlotte started her career working on the ASDA account at Publicis.
Since then she has had a wide range of retail and service industry experience including bmi, the launch of bmi’s budget airline bmibaby, Halifax, MasterCard, Co-op Food Retail and Woolworths. She even spent 21/2 years ‘client side’ working for HSBC.
Charlotte joined DLKW in 2007 to work on the Morrisons account as Board Account Director.

Carly Pritchard

Carly started her career working on Mitre 10, a large retail account, at Clemenger BBDO in Brisbane, Australia and since then retail has been the name of the game with time spent on varying degrees of large and small retail accounts, including 2 years at M&C Saatchi on Currys before joining DLKW in 2007 as Account Manager on Morrisons.

Brett Mickelburgh

A Business Studies graduate who also has recently added a Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Management to his list of IT and project management exam passes.
Brett’s full time career started at a small database and marketing firm before moving to MindShare in 1999, becoming UK IT Manager in 2001.
In late 2004 Brett jumped around a few IT contract roles Housing, Health Care and Finance before taking six months off to visit Kenya, South America and Australia.
Returning in mid 2005 he worked for Babcock on the recently won MOD Defence Estates PRIME contracts across the East and South West of England where, from scratch, he designed the system, recruited the IT team, implemented and then supported the technology needs for the company across 45 Army, Navy and RAF bases.
Joining DLKW in the summer of 2008 Brett now targets the provision of the highest quality IT systems for the company so we can continue to delight our clients.

Dom Dalton

Dom joined DLKW in 2007 as a Graduate Account Executive working on Halifax. Since joining, she has worked on House of Fraser and is now an Account Manager on Morrisons.

Anna Hutson

Anna started her career as a trainee Planner at BMP working on domestic and international accounts. In 1996 she moved to WCRS where she became Deputy Head of Planning. She then moved on to become the Planning Partner of Malcolm Moore Deakin Hutson. When the company was sold in 2003, she joined DLKW. She is currently responsible for planning on the global Tena account, Invesco Perpetual, House of Fraser and Marie Curie Cancer Care. Anna has won awards from the IPA, APG and The Marketing Society’s Grand Prix for marketing effectiveness.

Sadie Joy

Sadie began her career in recruitment for Virgin Atlantic. She made the move to advertising in 1999 and spent six years climbing the HR ladder within the Ogilvy Group, working across Ogilvy & Mather and Ogilvy Public Relations, both in London and across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Sadie joined DLKW in 2005 as Head of HR and has since been promoted to the agency board.

Alice Tendler

Alice joined DLKW in 2006 as a Graduate Account Executive working on Halifax. Since joining, she has worked on a range of accounts and currently works on Mirror Group Newspapers, COI DVLA, COI Blood and Scotts.

Peter Hodgkinson

After graduating from Warwick University, Peter joined DLKW in September 2008 as Graduate Account Executive. Since then has worked on the TENA, BAA and Homeform accounts.

Ian Barlow

Ian started his advertising career at Mustoes working on Kia Motors, Lea & Perrins, Butlins and PokerStars.com. He moved to DLKW in 2005 and has worked across a broad range of the Agency's accounts; from finance (Halifax, Clerical Medical, Bank of Scotland) to the COI (Teenage Pregnancy and RAF), with a range of charities, FMCG and other brands in between. He currently works on SCA's TENA brand internationally as well as COI RAF and Bank of Scotland's wealth brands.

Katy-Louise Morgan

Katy started as an intern at JWT Inside before moving to DLKW in 2007 to join as a Graduate Account Executive. Since joining, she has worked on Clerical Medical, D&A and Homeform’s Dolphin & Sharps. Currently she works on Homeform's Moben and Kitchens Direct as well as Bank of Scotland’s wealth brands.

Laura Chamberlain

Laura started her career in advertising as a graduate trainee at Bates UK, where she worked on Royal Mail. In 2003, Laura joined DLKW and has worked across a range of accounts including COI, Vauxhall and Halifax. Laura has been New Business Director and is currently Client Services Director.

Alex Monger

Alex joined DLKW & Partners as a Graduate Account Executive following graduation from the University of Manchester in September 2008. Since then he has worked on a number of campaigns for Halifax, the DVLA and the MicroLoan Foundation.

Charlotte Wolfenden

Charlotte joined DLKW in September 2006 as a Graduate Account Executive. In the 3 years she has been at the Agency, she has worked on a range of Clients including Opel, Vauxhall, The AA and Marie Curie. She currently works on the Halifax Retail account and the Invesco Perpetual account.

Mark Lund

Mark started his advertising career at Lintas before joining the cradle of British creative advertising Collett Dickenson Pearce where he became an Account Group Head. In 1990 he joined Euro: RSCG as Director of International Development in Paris charged with extending the reach and operational coherence of the network.

After 18 months of global travel and as an Air France miles millionaire Mark rejoined the Lintas network in 1992, working for both Lintas Worldwide and Still Price Lintas in London, as head of account management.

Mark joined Delaney Fletcher Bozell in 1995 as Managing Director. In 2000 he and his partner Greg Delaney led an MBO to form Delaney Lund Knox Warren.

Mark sits on the council of the IPA and is a governor of the History of Advertising Trust.
